The San Luis Chamber Orchestra is a nonprofit public benefit corporation, organized exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3), Internal Revenue Code.

The purpose of this corporation is:

• to provide an opportunity for amateur musicians to rehearse and perform orchestral music
• to furnish inexpensive live orchestral music performances to the public
• to foster appreciation for the live performance of orchestral music
